The delete_headers setting contains a list of message headers. Headers
appearing in this list will be removed from a posted message before the
message is delivered to the subscribers or placed in the archive.

Including the name of a header in this setting will cause all such
headers in a message to be removed. The deletion of headers from a
message takes place before other settings, such as the message_headers
setting, add headers to the message.
